Cinematography has been the focus of Steve Moyer's work and study for the past ten years. Steven graduated from the Florida State University in 1994 with two Bachelor of Science degrees in both the marketing and studio art. One year later he returned to and in 1997 received a master of fine art from the School of Motion Picture and Television Production.
The following year he moved to New York City where he began his career as a filmmaker. He started out doing various jobs in the all of the departments in order to attain a well-rounded understanding of the professional film environment. Soon he settled into the lighting and worked his way up from electrician to gaffer. There he spent seven years and gained valuable experience working on features, commercials and music videos. Throughout this period Steven continued working on various independent and professional productions as both director and director of photography in a continued effort to master the filmmaking process.
Steve has developed a strong sense of light, color, and composition and can achieve a unique cinematic look with precision and speed. He is always building on his craft through his work and study. The Motion Picture Industry has been Steve Moyer's chosen canvas to create beautiful images and hopes to continue this as his life's work.
